This morning, Epic Games deployed the latest Fortnite Battle Royale update that included some changes to the Sideways Rifle and a new addition to the Combat weapon class. Joining the Combat Assault Rifle and Combat SMG is the Combat Pistol in Fortnite Season 8. This new weapon rewards accuracy and a slightly improved fire rate compared to the standard Pistol.

The Combat Pistol should regularly spawn in each match like any other weapon with multiple rarities. According to leaker HYPEX, you can find it in Chests, Floor Loot and after eliminating a Sideways Caretaker. Unlike previously released Exotic weapons and items like the Icy Grappler, the Combat Pistol should be a breeze to find.
In terms of statistics, the Combat Pistol offers similarities to the regular Pistol but is much more effective when aiming down sight.
