If you’re looking for the perfect controller to accompany you on your journey through the Fallout 4 achievements and Fallout 76 achievements, then you need to check out these designs. The Xbox Design Lab has added four Fallout-inspired controller designs to its collection, which would be great companions when playing some of the best RPGs on Xbox.Fallout Xbox controller designs now available in Xbox Design LabThe four designs come with the same Fallout Pip-Boy-covered ‘top shell’ and ‘side cap’ unique to the Xbox Design Lab, as well as their own color schemes. The Vault Dweller design rocks a Shock Blue and metallic Lightening Yellow theme, the Brotherhood design comes in Storm Grey and metallic Pulse Red, the Pip-Boy variant offers Nocturnal Green and Desert Tan, and the Mutant color scheme features a Carbon Black and metallic Velocity Green design. The Fallout controller designs are available in Xbox Design Lab starting at $84.98, which you can go on to customize further with engravings, color swaps, and more. We’ve seen plenty of game-inspired designs arrive in the Xbox Design Lab before, like the recent Palworld designs, but they generally just make use of the colors and shells already available to create a color scheme that attempts to mimic the game it’s portraying. Seeing these Fallout designs rocking brand-new and unique Pip-Boy shells is a great step in the right direction for the service, and one I’ll have to buy into for my collection. It’ll be interesting to see if Microsoft starts rolling its Special Edition official controllers into the Xbox Design Lab instead of standalone items in the future to give players more customization options. If you’re looking for a special-edition console to add to your collection, Microsoft has partnered with GameMill for some rather pricey limited-edition SpongeBob SquarePants Xbox Series X bundles.
