The MP40 has quickly become a favorite for many Call of Duty: Vanguard players. With a fast fire rate and high damage, the MP40 has been the go-to weapon for most SMG players in Vanguard’s kickoff tournaments. Here’s how Atlanta FaZe’s Chris “Simp” Lehr sets up his weapon.

• Muzzle: Recoil Booster
• Barrel: Krausnick 317mm 04B
• Optic: Slate Reflector
• Stock: Krausnick 33m Folding
• Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
• Magazine: 9mm 24 Round Fast Mags
• Ammo Type: Lengthened
• Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
• Proficiency: Brace
• Kit: Quick

This MP40 loadout creates an exceptional, all-around weapon that is good in close-range gunfights but can also compete at medium ranges. The Recoil Booster and Krausnick 317mm 04B Barrel help to improve the stability of the weapon, making it better at longer ranges. However, the Folding Sock and Stippled Grip allow for a fast ADS, making the MP40 great at close range.
