Heard about the Anime Last Stand Portals update? They’re a bit of a mystery at first, and they’re rare to come across at times. Read on to find out more about the new item!
Anime Last Stand is a tower defense Roblox game that features a wide range of units to collect. What are these units, you ask? Anime characters! Yep, every unit in the game is based on an anime character from your favourite franchises. Obtain the strongest units in the game and place them in your defenses, as they wield their unique traits and techniques against your opponents.

Anime Last Stand Portals
Portals are a brand-new addition to Anime Last Stand with the release of Update 2! They’re essentially an item that you can use to be in with a chance of obtaining a rare unit. Using a ‘Portal’ opens up a literal portal that takes you into a battle – these battles can take place in Story Mode and Challenge Mode.

- Boat (Exotic)
- Boa Hancock from One Piece
- Angel (Exotic)
Portal Tiers
Every portal falls under a certain tier too, with all 5 tiers determining the HP buff that you and your teammates receive. To get a high-tier Portal, you need to beat the one you’re currently playing in. For example, loading into a tier 3 portal, and moving to a tier 4 once it’s been completed. It’s important to note that the tiers may decrease as well!

How to Get Portals
Now that the basics of Portals have been explained, how do you obtain them? As of right now, there are 2 ways to get a Portal. The first is by beating a player’s Portal that you happen to come across, and the second is beating an Infinite Mode boss.
However, I will note, that a Portal is not guaranteed to drop after defeating said boss. It’s got a 10% drop rate chance, which is pretty low. If you don’t manage to obtain your own Portal, I recommend hanging around the main lobby area. You’ll eventually spot another player who’s opened up a Portal!
