Bellator 270 will see a new lightweight champion crowned.
Bellator 270 will emanate live from Dublin, Ireland, and will feature two of Ireland’s biggest stars in prominent fights. In the main event, Peter Queally takes on Patricky “Pitbull” Freire for the Bellator lightweight championship after Patricky’s brother, Patricio, vacated the title. Then in the semi-main event, Ireland’s own James Gallagher looks to topple Patrick “Patchy” Mix, and climb up the bantamweight standings.
Both fights are huge their respective combatants and many see Gallagher as a big-time draw waiting to happen. Rising prospects and title changes are two good reasons to convince people to tune in. The only problem is fans may not know when the show starts.
Usually, Bellator main cards start at 10 PM ET on Showtime. That’s when the show is in the United States, however. The last show aired live from Moscow, Russia, and was on at 11 AM. So clearly Bellator won’t have their usual start time this week either.
What time does Bellator 270 air?
Thankfully, if you’re a fan of Bellator and MMA in general, you don’t have to worry about competing with college football to watch this week’s card. You will, however, have to leave work early if you’re hoping to catch the entirety of the main card. Unlike other weeks, Bellator 270 will air at 5:00 PM ET for the main card. That’s 2:00 PM PT if you’re on the west coast. To watch the event live, you’ll need to have a Showtime subscription.
The prelims will start a bit earlier at 1:30 PM but will air live and free on Bellator’s YouTube account. If YouTube is giving you frets, you can also watch Bellator live on Pluto TV’s Bellator MMA channel as well. You’ll still need to use Showtime to watch the main card, however.
