One of the early side quests you get in SMT 5 has you finding the Leanan Sidhe. Check out this guide to find out where to find Leanan Sidhe in Shin Megami Tensei 5. This way you will know what to expect and won’t be looking all over the game world for her.
Where To Find Leanan Sidhe In SMT 5
Leanan Sidehe resides within the Shiba Park. Head to the Tokyo Tower Leyline and you can find her in the cave here.
When you speak with her you will have two options. You can fight her and kill her like you were asked to do, or you can join up with her and attack the quest giver. The choice boils down to which Demon you want to join you basically.
Helping Leanan Sidhe
Doing this will cause you to fight with the Apsaras back at her base. When you beat the Apsaras, be careful she does a lot of ice damage, Leanan Sidhe will join you as a reward. Leanan Sidehe came in at level 17 for me and is a big magic damage dealer. Her biggest perk is that she has Dark moves, which are rare early game. She is a tiny bit stronger than Apsaras, who joins you if you help her.
Helping Apsaras
Apsaras is the only who gives you the quest and will also join you if you help her. She has mostly ice skills, which is a huge help against the boss at the Tokyo Tower. She comes in a tiny bit weaker, one level lower, than Leanan Sidehe. The fight with Leanan Sidhe was much harder for me, but I was weak to dark attacks. Leanan Sidhe also said she will come back later to get me or something, so I went with this one. I will update if she pops up again.
