Here is how to level up your class in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor

Funday Games released their new game titled Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor for Early Access on February 14. The survivor-like auto-shooter is a spin-off of the original game, Deep Rock Galactic, developed by Ghost Ship Games. The game has seen a surge of new players because of the DRG’s high popularity. Players have been grinding the game and trying to level up their characters and gear as soon as possible. Because of the nature of these auto-shooter games, it is important to have high levels on their characters and weapons to yield good results on their runs. Leveling up your class is very important in the long run to get more resources.

Therefore, we have decided to show you how you can level up your class efficiently which will allow you to easily perform better in your drops.

How to Level Up Your Class in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor

Like the original Deep Rock Galactic, DRG: Survivor has four classes each with their own abilities. They specialize in different tasks and perform more efficiently there. Therefore, leveling up each class is crucial to improve their performance during drops.

You can level up your classes in a few ways. Gaining experience points from drops transition into your class level. Therefore, if you want to increase your level, you need to aim to get a high number of experience points from each drop you go on.

There are a couple of ways you can earn experience points in a drop. They are explained in detail below. Details about the number of experience points you get from each task are unclear as the game has just been released. However, these points do add up and add to your character’s class level to increase it.

  • Killing Bugs: Every time you kill a bug, you gain experience points. The larger and more difficult to kill the bugs are, the more experience you get. To get more kills, it is wise to upgrade your weapons efficiently and try to stay in a drop for as long as possible. The longer you last, the more rewarding enemies appear.
  • Gathering Resources: DRG is a franchise based on mining minerals, so it is natural to be rewarded for the resources you collect. Digging through rocks and collecting minerals is not only a great way to add experience points but also allows you to upgrade your weapons. You can also sell your resources to get more currency points if you want to buy more items in between drops.
