Deep Rock Galactic Survivor has finally arrived on the market. For those who don’t know it, it’s a spin-off of Deep Rock Galactic that decides to give a different twist to the series, also changing the genre it belongs to. In fact, from the looter shooter of the main chapter, the developers have decided to turn on a survival auto shooter similar to Vampire Survivors. The main chapter of the series turned out to be a great game to play in the company of friends, but what can we say about Deep Rock Galactic Survivor? Deep Rock Galactic Survivor Multiplayer Feature Is Not Available
Unfortunately, all those who wanted to share the Deep Rock Galactic Survivor experience with other players will be disappointed to know that there is no multiplayer mode available in the game, at least at the moment. It is not known why the developers did not decide to take what was perhaps the best aspect of the main game and propose it again in this, which is its spin-off, but many have hypothesized that it was a choice linked to the type of game that was created.
In fact, since the gameplay of the game is very similar to what we had the opportunity to experience in Vampire Survivors, many immediately agreed that it was not a game that could do justice to the multiplayer component. The game mechanics, for many, would not go well with a multiplayer experience, as happened in Deep Rock Galactic. Of course, this is just fan speculation and no developer has ever said anything about it, so don’t take this information as anything official.
However, there is no shortage of players who would have preferred to see the multiplayer component also in Deep Rock Galactic Survivor, precisely to try to give an extra touch to the game and make it even more fun. From what has been shown so far, in fact, the game seems to have great potential and could prove to be an excellent success, also because the votes of specialized critics have rewarded the game, as well as the first user reviews that are available on Steam.
For this reason, the possibility that the developers decide to add this feature at a later time cannot be ruled out a priori. If the game manages to sell enough and the presence of a multiplayer component remains one of the most requested features by players, it is possible that the developers could take this hypothesis into consideration, in case there is a basis for making Deep Rock Galactic Survivor a multiplayer game.
