Playground Games has put out a graphic detailing when Forza Horizon 5 will be playable in various countries, and it looks like the good old ‘New Zealand trick’ should let players with either Premium preorders or Game Pass subscriptions and the Premium Add-Ons Bundle get started in a matter of hours. There wasn’t much need for a visual, in all honesty — Forza Horizon 5 goes live at 12:01am local time on November 5th for those with either the Premium Edition or Premium Add-Ons Bundle and a Game Pass subscription, or November 9th for everyone else. Since this is a staggered launch based on local time rather than a simultaneous global launch, that means that setting your console location to the earliest time zone — so New Zealand — may let you play as soon as tomorrow, depending on where you live. Obviously it’s not much use to you if you actually live in New Zealand, but the benefits increase the further your local time is from UTC+13. Here in the UK, it should mean the game will be playable using this nifty trick from 11.01am local time tomorrow (November 4th) for Premium folks, which would equate to just after 7am for east coast US, 4am for west coast US, and noon for central Europe. Not a bad headstart…Forza Horizon 5 Premium EditionLimitless driving fun in an ever-evolving open world. The Premium Edition includes early access, allowing you to play the game four days early beginning November 5, 2021. Also included are the Welcome Pack, Car Pass, VIP Membership and two game expansions when they become available.Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-Ons BundleThe Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-Ons Bundle includes early access, allowing you to play the game four days early beginning November 5, 2021. It also includes the Welcome Pack, Car Pass, VIP Membership and two game expansions when they become available. This add-on requires Forza Horizon 5 (game sold separately).Upgrade to Premium today! It’s not a new trick, but the rise in popularity of simultaneous launches has meant it doesn’t get as much use today as it once did. That being said, we did notice lots of people making use of it to get involved with the likes of Outriders and Back 4 Blood early. Oh, and sorry, Steam users, but you get a global launch, so this is no good to you either.Planning a last-minute trip to Mexico via New Zealand tomorrow? Excited to explore the Horizon festival anew?
