But, looking at PlayStation’s big titles this year, other games that could presumably make appearances include Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the Silent Hill 2 remake, and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. As for the games that were confirmed, we last learned more about Stellar Blade all the way back in September 2022, when it got renamed from Project Eve. Rise of the Ronin, meanwhile, revealed a new trailer and a March 22, 2024, release date at The Game Awards last December. The most recent State of Play took place back in September. The biggest announcement out of that event was a release date for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, as well as a gameplay trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Xbox kicked off the 2024 showcases earlier this month with a Developer Direct featuring a peek at the highly anticipated Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. With PlayStation getting its first event of the year, all that’s left to hear about would be a Nintendo Direct. Alex Stedman is a Senior News Editor with IGN, overseeing entertainment reporting.
