Update #2: It appears that whatever happened has now largely been fixed by Microsoft and games are starting to appear back in some users’ libraries and on the Microsoft Store. We still haven’t heard anything back from Microsoft about what caused the issue, but if we do, we’ll be sure to update you. Update: According to several TA users the following games are also missing from the Microsoft Store:Users have also reported that redeeming keys for these games and the titles originally listed does not work, so don’t buy any game codes from third-party websites as you won’t be able to redeem them. Original Story: While it could simply be a mistake or an error, a dozen games have recently been delisted from the Microsoft Store, with their store pages completely removed, leaving users unable to download games they’ve paid for. According to reports from users in our forum, games such as The Station, Q*bert REBOOTED: The XBOX One @!#?@! Edition, Electonic Super Joy, and more have all had their Microsoft Store pages completely removed, which means if you’ve previously purchased one of these titles, there is currently no way to download it. I’ve tested this with The Station and can confirm this is indeed the case, for The Station at least. When looking at my Xbox library, I can see that The Station no longer appears in my owned games, and there is no way of redownloading it. As per the forum thread, these are the reported affected games, though there could be more that we haven’t come across: Currently, most of these games are still available to buy on other platforms, so to us, this seems like it could simply be a mistake on Microsoft’s end and not some sort of mass purging of games. We’ve reached out to Microsoft to get some sort of clarification as to what’s going on — we’ll update you if we find out more. Do you own any of these games and have found that you can no longer download them from the Microsoft Store? Let us know down in the comments.
