Square Enix has announced a new entry into the Star Ocean series. Star Ocean The Divine Force is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in 2022 and will ” transport players to an expansive sci-fi fantasy world.”According to Square Enix, Star Ocean The Divine Force will “will tell a gripping story that seamlessly melds science fiction and fantasy elements and can be enjoyed by newcomers to the series and veterans alike.” The game will feature different story perspectives and gameplay experiences from dual protagonists. Raymond is the captain of a space training ship, and Laeticia is the princess knight of a kingdom on an underdeveloped planet. They will be brought together by fate along with several other ally characters. Players can also expect high-speed action battles that will seamlessly begin with enemies throughout the world, as well as mountains, valleys, castles, and towns to explore. Star Ocean The Divine Force launches for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC via Steam in 2022.
