After a number of delays, Ark: Survival Ascended is out now for Xbox. It seems things still aren’t running smoothly, however, as in the words of Studio Wildcard co-founder Jeremy Stieglitz, “the servers are ass.” Stieglitz spoke during Studio Wildcard’s Extra Life Charity stream on Twitch. The stream was very successful and managed to raise over $118,000 for charity, but there’s one bit that took viewers by surprise. Among various Ark interviews, Stieglitz popped up and discussed the Ark: Survival Ascended servers, saying, “The servers are ass. They run like ass. And their stability is ass.” Luckily, the next thing he said was, “we need to improve it, it’s going to be improved imminently.” Good news! The stream brought with it a lot of news and reveals, along with an updated content roadmap (Studio Wildcard says Scorched Earth has been pushed back to March 2024). Closer on the horizon is the return of Survival of the Fittest, which comes to Ark: Survival Ascended on December 20. Check out the roadmap below.Scorched Earth looks to be the next big thing for the game. In the meantime, there’s plenty of time to continue storming through the Ark: Survival Ascended achievements, especially since it looks like we still have a long wait for Ark 2.
