We’ve been waiting for more Dragon Age: Dreadwolf news for a long time. And, while it’s most likely still a long time before we can start unlocking Dragon Age: Dreadwolf achievements, we do have a short new trailer and a promise of a full reveal in summer 2024.”Enter Thedas, a vibrant land of rugged wilderness, treacherous labyrinths, and glittering cities – steeped in savage combat and secret magics. Now, its fate teeters on a knife’s edge.”We’ve only had tiny slivers of news about Dragon Age: Dreadwolf for a long time, so a new trailer, let alone a full reveal next year, is fantastic news. We know from an EA financial report earlier this year that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf won’t release before April 2024 and since then, we’ve heard the sad news that BioWare was laying off around 50 employees. As for the game itself — the last we heard was that BioWare was being “just as experimental” with Dragon Age: Dreadwolf’s RPG systems.”We stand on the precipice of change. This is a world brimming with stories and characters waiting to meet you. The fate of this world teeters on the edge of a knife. In past games, you only got to see a slice of the world,” BioWare says, listing Ferelden for Origins, Kirkwall for II, and Orlais for Inquisition. “This time, however, much more of Thedas is yours to see. The desolate, beautiful badlands of the Anderfels with curtains of distant mountainous spires. The twisting canals and gleaming towers of Antiva, where Crows may lurk in any shadow. The turquoise seas of Rivain with its rushes of greenery and hardy sea-faring people. And of course, there’s more.”
