Dragon’s Dogma 2 Officially Launches In March 2024, Capcom Reveals

Dragon’s Dogma 2 will launch on March 22, 2024, publisher and developer Capcom has revealed during today’s showcase.The upcoming sequel has been long anticipated by fans of the initial game, which first launch two console generations ago.Today’s showcase only lasted approximately 15 minutes, but in that time packed in more gameplay being shown off, a deeper dive into the game’s story and the official release date reveal.We also got a first look at new monsters players will have to take on, a deeper look at the quests you’ll embark on, new vocations, and the confirmation that this story takes place in a parallel world from the first game.We were also given a first look at the deluxe edition of the game and the pre-order bonuses players will receive for grabbing their copy early.Right after the showcase ended, a small panel of Dragon’s Dogma fans went hands-on with the game, showing off more gameplay live.You can check out the showcase for yourself, below.After just getting Baldur’s Gate 3 earlier this year, Dragon’s Dogma 2 looks like it could be the next RPG to truly challenge the titan that Baldur’s Gate 3 has become in the genre.Source – [Capcom]
