South Korea’s Game Content Rating Committee has issued Final Fantasy VII Rebirth with a 15 certificate ahead of its much-anticipated release in February 2024.The rating notes that the game is ‘not excessively violent’ and is limited when it comes to its depictions of drinking and smoking, which is about what you’d expect from a Final Fantasy game nowadays. That’s not including Final Fantasy XVI however, as that was the first game in the series to be given a Mature rating by the ESRB.
