FromSoftware parent company Kadokawa has revealed that development on Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree is “proceeding smoothly.”Speaking during its latest earnings call, the company reiterated that a release date for the expansion has not been announced yet, but made it clear that things are going well in regards to its development. The release timing of DLC for Elden Ring has not yet been announced, but development is proceeding smoothly. However, a rumour doing the rounds last month suggested that the DLC will be showcased at The Game Awards in December, alongside a release date reveal.Back in May, it was reported that FromSoftware scrapped a Season Pass for Elden Ring in favour of working on Shadow of the Erdtree. Elden Ring was released in February 2022 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, and within a year had sold over 20 million copies worldwide.[Source – VGC]
