Sentinels’ offseason tournament circuit continues with a $20K Valorant Invitational.

Hosting by Sentinels Tarik and popular content creator Ludwig and presented by Starforge Systems, Sentinels is throwing down a $20,000 Valorant Invitational on November 1 at their LA offices. Sentinels, Moist x Shopify, G2, and Oxygen will compete against one another for bragging rights and a share of a $20,000 prize pool.
Tickets are available now for $25. Sentinels will be providing free food and beverages for the event. The tournament will operate via standard Single Round-Robin Bo3 format rules and run through November 3. Doors open at 1:30 PM, with the first match between Sentinels and MxS beginning at 2 PM, followed by G2 vs Oxygen at 4:30 PM and Sentinels vs G2 at 7 PM. Day 2 will begin with Sentinels vs Oxygen at 2 PM, followed by MxS vs G2 at 4:30 PM, then MxS vs Oxygen at 7 PM. On November 3, the third seed and second seed will face off. The winner of that match will go on to face the first seed in the Grand finals.
Tournament Predictions
Shopify Rebellion had a quiet 2023 season, but the Moist Moguls showed some potential. They did well in NA Challengers this year, topping at VALORANT Challengers 2023: North America Split 2 and finishing 3rd at the VALORANT Challengers 2023: North America Challenger Playoffs.
Since merging and becoming Moist x Shopify, the organization defeated Sentinels to win the Sentinels Off-Season $5k Bounty Showmatch. They might be the favorite heading into this tournament.
G2 played well this year, with several high placements in the NA Challengers circuit this season. Oxygen is in a similar position, placing consistently high all year.
Ironically enough, Sentinels might be the underdog of this Sentinels-hosted tournament. Sentinels’ 2023 echoed the disappointing results of their 2022 season. Despite high expectations, the team performed inconsistently.
With Sentinels securing a $3.4 million cash injection from their parent ownership group, we can expect plenty of exciting things to continue coming from the organization in the future.
