Ark Survival Ascended suggests November console release in new trailer

Ark: Survival Ascended, the “top-to-bottom remake of the original game,” appeared during the Xbox Partner Preview event with a new trailer and, what’s more, the announcement that it’s out today for PC and coming to consoles in November.”Ark is reimagined from the ground-up in this next-generation of video game technology with Unreal Engine 5! Form a tribe, tame & breed hundreds of unique dinosaurs and primeval creatures, explore, craft, build, and fight your way to the top of the food-chain. Your new world awaits!”The Xbox Partner Preview event trailer arrived alongside a detailed Xbox Wire post covering new features coming with the game, such as cross-platform modding, as well as how it’s aiming to create “a new gameplay experience.” Interestingly, neither the trailer during the Xbox Partner Preview event nor the Xbox Wire post mentioned release dates. The trailer shared on the Ark: Survival Evolved YouTube channel, however, notes that it’s available today for PC and coming to consoles in November, although there’s no word yet on a specific date.”A key thing to remember is that Ark: Survival Ascended will include all its previously released DLCs and maps in its remade form and will have its own content roadmap,” executive producer Jatheish Karunakaran says. “This will include new story content for the game, further gameplay/QOL changes, new DLC, seasonal events, and over time, we’ll be releasing 11 brand new creatures (More than any previous DLC expansions).”We’ll keep an eye out for a specific release date for Ark: Survival Ascended.
