If you have reached this point, it means that you are facing the final stages of the game. In fact, the Ghostrunner 2 Mitra boss is the last of the boss fights you will have to face before being able to witness the finale. Although it is the last boss to face, it is not that difficult compared to the others. In fact, it will be a sort of mix between what you will have had to face on other occasions, such as against Ahriman or Rahu the Avatar. In any case, in this article, we will show you everything you need to do if you want to get the better of this boss.
Ghostrunner 2 Mitra boss: How to beat him
As usual, this boss fight also consists of different phases, three to be exact. However, the attacks won’t be very different from each other, so once you understand Mitra’s pattern, you shouldn’t have much difficulty. In any case, in case you need some advice or to know the specific pattern of the boss, below we will explain how each phase of the battle against Mitra evolves.
Phase 1
After a short cutscene in which Mitra introduces himself, the first phase of the battle will immediately begin. The attacks that are present in the arsenal of this Ghostrunner 2 boss are not many, but that doesn’t mean that you won’t still have to be careful and vigilant so as not to get hit and therefore die. The first attack you will have to pay attention to is the one in which Mitra will jump into the air and then land hitting the ground, which will create a sort of shock wave. This attack can be both parried and dodged, so it’s up to you to decide which of the two solutions to adopt, based on your skills.
Another attack in Mitra’s arsenal is the one in which he will rise high and then launch two projectiles on the ground which, upon impact, will begin to release circular waves. This attack is not difficult to avoid and to ensure that the projectiles no longer create waves on the ground, all you have to do is use your grappling hook to eliminate them. Furthermore, also pay attention to the fact that Mitra is able to move by becoming invisible, and then launch an attack from behind to try to strike you by surprise. However, during this attack time will slow down and you will have plenty of time to parry and hit him.
Once you have dealt enough damage to the boss and managed to take away a third of his health bar, he will disappear and a platforming phase will begin. These phases are very similar to those you will have faced during the battle against Rahu, so this is nothing new. However, be careful not to be hit by the energy balls that will be launched and which will have the task of making things more difficult for you.
Phase 2
Once you have managed to get close to Mitra again, the second phase of the battle will begin. This second phase, to be honest, is very similar to the one you have just faced, so if you have learned the pattern and timing of the boss’s attacks well you shouldn’t have many problems getting through this phase of the battle too. However, pay attention to the fact that now the projectiles that create energy waves will no longer be two, but three. For the rest, the moves available to Mitra have remained unchanged.
As for the platform phase that you will have to face after you have managed to inflict enough damage on the boss and have emptied his health bar by two-thirds, it is not like the one you will have faced in the first phase. However, the real big difference that you will have to take into account is that, in addition to the energy balls, there will also be laser barriers that will block your way.
Phase 3
When you arrive near Mitra again, the third and final phase of the battle will begin. This phase will also be similar to the previous ones, so, at this point, you shouldn’t have many problems because by now you will have become familiar with the attacks that this Ghostrunner 2 boss can carry out. However, be careful that, as an addition, there will be a machine capable of shooting large lasers on the platform, so be careful to avoid them.
As usual, when you miss the final shot, you will have to face a third and final platform phase. In this case, there will no longer be energy balls but circular lasers that will gradually become larger. Once you manage to reach Mitra for the third time, you will have the chance to land the final blow and end this fight and the game.
