During today’s Direct video presentation, Nintendo announced that Animal Crossing: New Horizons will feature a free update and a paid expansion on November 5, 2021.
Free features for the title include the return of fan-favorite characters from throughout the Animal Crossing series. For instance, Brewster will open a café on the second floor of the museum and Kapp’n will take players to different islands with his boat. There are also newly opened shops at Harv’s Island plaza, including Katrina’s fortune-telling shop. Finally, players will be able to cook and grow vegetables.
In regards to its paid expansion, Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise, players will have the chance to join Lottie and the Paradise Planning team. This can be purchased for a one-time fee of $24.99.
