Rocket League is gearing up for Halloween with the Haunted Hallows event, which kicks off today, bringing Event Challenges and Batman-themed rewards.Haunted Hallows kicks off today, October 14th, and runs until November 1st. “It’s nightfall in Gotham City, and the Rogues Gallery is gearing up for mischief and mayhem,” the devs say. “This calls for the return of the Dark Knight himself… prepare for a long Halloween with Haunted Hallows Event Challenges.”The Challenge rewards are all themed after Batman villains, including the Joker Dominus Decal and Boost, Harley Quinn Wheels and Topper, and the Poison Ivy Boost, with Psyonix adding that you can claim the Dark Knight Player Title for free just for logging in. Gotham City Rumble is available as a limited-time mode, with the devs explaining, “Batman and his foes are also taking over Rumble and transforming it into Gotham City Rumble. This new twist is the same Rumble gameplay, but power-ups are now themed after Batman and his enemies.” The time-limited mode comes with a time-limited arena: Beckwith Park. More Batman-themed items will be available in the item shop, including three versions of the Batmobile: the 1989 Batmobile, The Dark Knight’s Tumbler, and the 2016 Batmobile.
