Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that PlayStation Pictures Core, a rebranding of Bravia Core, has launched its dedicated app today for the PS5 & PS4. Those of you who sign up for the service on either console will be able to then rent or buy up to 2,000 films straight from PS5 or PS4. The Sony Pictures Core app launches with the likes of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Uncharted, The Equalizer, No Hard Feelings, Bullet Train, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife. In select markets such as the U.K., France, Germany, and Japan, the first film with early access will be Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story, which is based on the unbelievable true story of a team of unlikely underdogs – a struggling working-class gamer, a failed former racecar driver, and an idealistic motorsport executive.
