While many players have dedicated their time to unlocking all 50 Starfield achievements, or hoarding potatoes, one fan has decided to create a stunning video showcasing a selection of environments and locations from Bethesda’s space RPG. From thriving metropolises to abandoned mining facilities, lush jungles filled with flora and fauna to desolate wastelands, it’s pretty difficult not to be distracted in Starfield. Wherever you go, there always seems to be something to explore or a breathtaking view to enjoy amid the chaos of fighting off Spacers or mining your ten-thousandth piece of aluminum. Starfield’s missions take you all over the Settled Systems as a member of Constellation, and Reddit user The-MatrixAgent has put together a short video filled with some of the beautiful environments they visited on their travels. Lasting for around a minute, The-MatrixAgent’s character casually strolls through numerous locations, clearly unbothered about strange alien artifacts handing out superpowers or space pirates needing to be obliterated, and the video certainly demonstrates the sheer scope of Bethesda’s ambitious RPG.Last week, Starfield game director Todd Howard revealed that exploring planets was originally a much harsher experience, but Bethesda had to “nerf the hell” out of it before launch. Wonderful — thanks to that video, we now want to shut down our computers, hop in our spaceship, and see the secrets hidden throughout the universe.
