The tech wizards at Digital Foundry have put Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty through its paces, revealing the expansion to CD Projekt RED’s sci-fi epic has a number of disadvantages on Xbox hardware and actually performs better on PS5 overall.For starters, there’s major frame rate drops on Xbox Series X/S when driving fast through Night City to around 49 FPS, while the PS5 maintains a solid 60 FPS. Furthermore, loading time are noticeable longer on Xbox formats compared to the PS5 version to the point where the are almost twice as long as Sony’s console.
