The 4th International Drone Show Competition is open for Applications

The 4th International Drone Show Competition organized by drone show pioneers SPH Engineering is now open for applications. The competition features participants from all over the world and is intended to highlight key innovators in drone show technology.
SPH Engineering is a Latvia based company that specializes in UAV technology development, and they held the First International Drone Show Competition in 2020. Since then, the event has continued to grow. In the last three years they have had 469 participants from 104 countries.
“As the drone show industry continues to soar to new heights, the International Drone Show Competition stands as a testament to the limitless creativity and technical innovation of participants from around the world. We’re excited to witness the incredible drone displays and projects that will grace this year’s competition. Together, we’ll illuminate the skies and inspire the world with the magic of drone shows,” Alexander Levandovskiy, Head of Drone Show Technologies in SPH Engineering.
The 4th International Drone Show Competition will award prizes in a variety of categories, showcasing talented advancement in each facet of drone show application and technology.
One is for “Drone Show Animation” which will recognize the best and most creative use of UAV demonstrations. Highlighting the participant with the best UAV enabled animation for storytelling and entertainment.
Another, the award for “Drone Show at an Event” will recognize the participant with the best live drone show in 2023, with a specific focus on accuracy, creativity, and audience engagement.
The participant with the most compelling narrative communicated through the drone show medium will be awarded the “Drone Show Storytelling” award.
Awards will also be given in the categories of; “Drone Show for Raising Social Awareness”, “Drone Show with a Small Fleet of up to 100 Drones”, “Collaborative Drone Show” and “Rising Star Drone Show.”
Participation in the Drone Show competition is open to drone manufacturers, operators, and enthusiasts. Although participants hoping to be nominated for one of the many awards should make a submission within the coming weeks. The event will highlight exciting key innovations and the most creative drone shows in 2023.
