Back 4 Blood is out today, if you went ahead and pre-ordered specific editions of the game, otherwise everyone else will get a crack at it in a few days on October 12, 2021 – but what players are learning now is that your in-game progression will actually be stunted, should you decide to play the game solo, without any online companions.This means that you’ll have to use a separate deck for solo campaigns, the ability to earn supply points is disabled, stat tracking is disabled, and earning progress towards accomplishments is disabled.To be fair, Back 4 Blood is meant to be played with other people and not bots, but there are plenty of players who prefer not to play with anyone, no matter how little they may really need to interact with each other, and players are frustrated that they seem to be getting penalized for choosing to play the game how they would want to.While Turtle Rock Studios likely inserted this limitation as incentive for people to play online, blocking all progression does seem like an unfair punishment for playing in your preferential way.Source – [ResetEra]
