Bungie has removed previous content to make room for the next new thing before in Destiny 2, and that pattern will continue with the release of The Witch Queen in February seeing the removal or “vaulting” of the Forsaken expansion. This means that not only will the campaign be unavailable to players, but the Tangled Shore destination, and Year 4 seasonal content, including the exotic missions. If you want to do any of that, you’ll have to get it all done before the Witch Queen releases.Fans are understandably not pleased, as many looked to the Forsaken campaign as a favourite, specifically because of how it centers around Cayde. At the very least however, Bungie will be making the campaign free for players to experience starting on December 7, 2021.If you want to see the Forsaken expansion go out with a bang, then on December 7 you’ll also be able to purchase the Forsaken Pack, which will grant you all the exotics from the expansion, the Last Wish raid and the Shattered Throne dungeon.Source – [Bungie]
