IGN has gone live with 11 minutes of new Alan Wake 2 gameplay footage, which depicts one of the early missions in FBI agent Saga Anderson’s campaign.This latest footage finds Anderson investigating the town of Watery, where her search leads her through the Coffee World theme park. There’s no time to have some fun on the rides though, as the area is infested by shadowy enemies that the player must fend off by using the series’ signature combination of light and gunplay.Related Content – Sony PS5 Complete Guide – Everything Explained About PlayStation 5 For New Owners In 2023 Alan Wake 2 takes place 13 years after the events of the original cult classic, and sees the titular writer still trapped in the Dark Place, where he attempts to extricate himself from by penning more stories. Meanwhile, Saga Anderson turns up at the picturesque town of Bright Falls to investigate a series of ritualistic murders, and soon finds herself caught up in the darkness corruption that plagued the settlement in the original game.The original Alan Wake was released in 2010 for the Xbox 360 and arrived on PC a few years later.
