Quests in Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 8 are more important to accomplish than ever. Before yesterday’s update, experience points (XP) were hard to accumulate outside of Punch Cards and in-game tasks. Thankfully, Epic bumped the XP rewards for each quest tier. Players can get back to the usual quests from non-player characters (NPCs) and continue leveling up the Season 8 Battle Pass.
One of the newest quests in Fortnite Season 8 asks players to destroy rocks inside the Sideways. For those who don’t know, the Sideways is a new feature in Season 8, where players enter a low gravity zone and have to fight Cube Monsters. The Sideways rock challenge starts here, and ESTNN has all the information you might need to finish this quest.
Where to Start Sideways Rock Quest
First things first, you must navigate to the Hydro 16 landmark—located west of Misty Meadows down the waterfall. You’ll find the Raven NPC there, and he will offer you a set of quests that you can complete for XP. One of those quests requires you to destroy Sideways rocks. It may not be obvious, but it’s a relatively straightforward challenge.
