This Mewtwo is extremely difficult to defeat, packing a ton of power, high HP, and HP recovery. There are some ways to counter each of its moves, but first, let’s talk about what makes it so powerful. Its Tera-boosted Psystrike is already enough to make trainers nerverous. Pack on coverage moves like Aura Sphere and Ice Beam, and it becomes difficult to think of a Pokémon that can defeat it. While boosting its Special Attack and Special Defense, things can get out of hand pretty quickly, especially when it can heal up after having its guard broken.

The recommendation is to pack three of the support Mews onto a team, with one Bug Tera Mew that can carry the damage. The Life Dew from the supports will ensure that the attacker Mew can build up Swords Dances and get off lots of Leech Life or X-Scissor attacks which will be boosted by Metronome the more they are used back to back. Setting up Light Screen minimizes damage from Mewtwo, while the Misty Terrain ensures it can’t rest and heal itself up, expediting the second half of the battle
