A new Mario-themed edition of the Nintendo Switch OLED will allegedly be released along with the Super Mario Bros. Wonder game launching in October
On June 21, Nintendo America treated fans to a Direct event where they officially announced the game, Super Mario Bros. Wonder. They officially introduced the game during the event to fans after months of rumors and leaks. Nintendo wasn’t done there as they scheduled another Direct event on August 31 for an in-depth look at the game. Fans thought that this would be the end of all leaks, but oh boy were they solely wrong! The reliable leakers have struck again and there are new rumors about Super Mario Bros. Wonder, again. This time, the leak is related to a new edition of the Nintendo Switch in collaboration with Super Mario Bros. Wonder and here’s what we know about it.

A user of the website Dealabs named “billbil-kun”, has struck again with new leaks regarding a new edition of the Nintendo Switch. In a blog post uploaded on August 30, 2023, billbil-kun alleges that a new edition of the Nintendo Switch OLED that is Mario-themed will be released soon. According to his information, the product release will include two Joy-cons and a dock. Both of these items will be the signature Mario red in color, with no other Mario branding added. Other customization included will be the volume control buttons, which will also be red in color. Allegedly, the red color of this new Switch will be the same shade as the standard neon red color of the existing Switch.
The leaker also said that he is certain the product will be released within October this year and assuming that this product is real, it is likely it will be revealed in the Direct event on August 31, 2023. Billbil-kun is actually a reliable leaker as he has been leaking a lot of unannounced products over the years. Still, we cannot be sure about it because it is just an alleged rumor that has not been confirmed by Nintendo America. Though, the alleged leak is not too surprising because the game, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a Nintendo OLED exclusive game.
