With each passing year, the light that was once Rockstar’s Agent grows dimmer. Today, Agent watchers noticed that Rockstar has seemingly sunsetted its long-running Agent website. Its URL now redirects visitors directly to the Rockstar homepage.Agent was announced at E3 2009 and was pitched as a Cold War espionage thriller. Rockstar maintained a simple Agent teaser website which included a quick description of the game’s Cold War-era setting and not much else.Along with its website, Agent has been deleted from Rockstar’s Games section. It certainly seems Agent is all but officially gone at Rockstar.While there were small updates on Agent’s whereabouts over the years, nothing substantial ever emerged. The studio officially announced that a next-gen, PlayStation 5 version of Grand Theft Auto 5 is coming in 2022 and it certainly looks like a Grand Theft Auto Remastered Trilogy is on the way also.
