Second International Drone Show Now Open For Entries

The Second International Drone Show Competition is now accepting entries, with the goal of bringing together the best talent to showcase their drone shows, animations and business approaches and exchange knowledge about breakthrough sustainable technologies for outdoor light events.

Entrants will have the chance to be selected as one of six winners by submitting project videos to compete in one or more of six different categories, made up of best drone show 3D animation, best drone show up to 100 drones, best drone show over 100 drones and up to 1000 drones, best drone show over 1000 drones, best integrated drone show, and best drone show business promo video.
The competition is being initiated and organized by SPH Engineering, a multiproduct drone software company and UAV integration services provider behind the first commercially available Drone Show Software to manage swarms of light drones.
The competition’s international judging panel consists of Alexey Dobrovolskiy of SPH Engineering (Latvia), Angelito Diaz Jadormeo, the 2020 Competition winner (Philippines), Hyon Lim of UVify (USA), and Luke Carothers of Civil+Structural Engineer Media (USA), as well as other event and drone industry entrepreneurs, hardware manufacturers, experts at international organizations and educational bodies.

Entrants will be competing to win several prizes, including a unique drone show operator kit and a prize set consisting of educational and marketing support. Additionally, authors of drone show animations will be competing for a MacBook Pro 13”, and the kit for the winner of the “best drone show over 1000 drones” category will include a DJI FPV drone.
Applications will be accepted from September 30th to November 30th, 2021, at the competition’s website.
