Behaviour Interactive has shared an October calendar showcasing all the events arriving for Dead by Daylight throughout the month, and confirming an October 19th release date for the Hour of the Witch chapter.First things first, Dead by Daylight players have the whole month to get a Dwightcrow charm, which can be claimed for free by using the code DWIGHTCROW before October 31st.We don’t yet have a detailed breakdown of the upcoming Hour of the Witch chapter, which adds new Survivor Mikaela Reid, but Behaviour Interactive has given us a little bit of information about Mikaela: “Our first original stand-alone Survivor enters the Fog with a unique backstory and a singular skillset,” the devs say. “Haunted by the passing of her father, Mikaela Reid found comfort in the unlikeliest of sources: horror stories. She loves Halloween, loves writing horror, and over time also developed a keen interest in witchcraft – something sure to pay off in the Entity’s Realm. Look for her to use her abilities to bring light to the darkness as the first-ever Survivor capable of harnessing the power of Totems to tip the scales in favour of herself and her allies.”Following the release of the Hour of the Witch chapter, the ninth tome of the Archives will be opened on October 20th with three new “chilling memories.” After that, there’s the Halloween event, which runs from October 21st to November 4th, and offers “all the classic trappings of our annual Halloween event along with a few new tricks and treats.”The Hour of the Witch chapter releases on October 19th, followed by the ninth tome and the Halloween event.
