Autel has announced a new suite of products, available this fall. Autel’s mini drone offering appears in the EVO Nano Series, which includes the EVO Nano and EVO Nano +.
The Nano Series is an obvious competitor to the DJI Mini, and with current rumors of a DJI Mini 3 announcement rampant around the internet, the timing may be perfect to give drone operators more choices.
Here’s are the basics on Autel’s mini drone, the EVO Nano, weighing in at 249 grams:

(Note, the threshold for drone registration in the U.S. is 250 grams if you fly strictly recreationally: however, any drone must be registered if you fly under a Part 107 certification.)
The EVO Nano series also offers subject tracking and cinematic tools for better content creation – as well as a beefed up image transmission system, with a longer range and better anti-interference capabilities.
The EVO Lite series will also be released later this fall. The original EVO series was called “the Mavic Killer” when it first hit the shelves: since then, Autel has made continual incremental improvements, like the Autel Enterprise announced earlier this season. The Autel EVO Lite series takes those improvements further. EVO Lite provides what Autel says is the world’s first 4-axis gimbal design, enabling vertical video creation. The new series also offers practical tools for night flight, now that regulations allowing flight at night have been passed: a 1″ CMOS image sensor, an intelligent “moonlight algorithm,” and an adjustable aperture for more creative images.
