OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro’s cameras are good but still up there with the best and maybe even a bit underwhelming given the whole Hasselblad marketing campaign. The latest software update, however, aims to address some of the issues reviewers had with the camera performance.
The changelog says that the noise reduction algorithm and the sharpening effect have been improved along with the focusing and brightness for indoor scenes. The accuracy of the white balance has also been adjusted.
In addition to the camera fixes, the software boosts network performance and battery endurance. The charging experience and system stability improvements are also at hand but not much detail has been given around those two.
The new OxygenOS 11.2.6.6 is now distributing in India with the European and North American markets to follow very soon.
