Find out what time Nick Diaz makes his return to the Octagon at UFC 266 this Saturday Sept. 25.

Fan favorite UFC fighter Nick Diaz, will step back into the Octagon for the first time in over six years this Saturday at UFC 266. Diaz will face off against Robbie Lawler, in a rematch from their 2004 fight which Diaz won by knockout.

Diaz hasn’t fought since his 2015 fight against Anderson Silva. The fight initially was unanimously decided to go to Silva. After test showed that Silva was positive for PEDs and Diaz for marijuana, the fight was overturned to a no contest.

That failed drug test for Diaz would get him fined and suspended from action and start his nearly seven year hiatus from competition.

Now with everything behind him, Diaz is ready to make his return. He will bring his 26-9-0 record with two non contests to the octagon against Lawler who is 28-15-0 with one no contest.

When the two fought at UFC 47 in 2004, it was Diaz who scored the devastating one punch knockout in the second round. Up to that point in the fight, it was very close with the two exchanging punches.

Lawler enters the fight on four fight losing streak but has been far more active than Diaz, having last fought in August of 2020.

With both men now older and a lot more experience under their belt, they each will look to overcome their own challenges as they meet in the octagon this Saturday.

The fight will stream exclusively on ESPN+ PPV.
