The games industry’s summer of showcases is finally winding down, but not before Capcom managed to sneak in a last minute showcase of its own. Though the studio didn’t pack too much into its press conference, the event provided fans with a closer look at a few key titles.
Most prominent was Dragon’s Dogma 2, the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2012’s Dragon’s Dogma. Thanks to the Capcom Showcase, we now know the open-world, fantasy RPG features a world that feels “roughly four times larger” than the one found in the original. The event also revealed a bit more about the character on the game’s cover, Ulrika and Nadina, as well as additional information regarding the game’s pawn and physics systems.
In addition to Dragon’s Dogma 2, Capcom announced a new Ace Attorney Trilogy that combines its three most recent mainline entries, as well as a Ghost Trick demo. After being announced at the Xbox Games Showcase, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess made a return, complete with a bit more information about the game.
Capcom also revealed more information about its upcoming dinosaur-shooter, Exoprimal, before announcing that Pragmata will be receiving yet another delay. For a complete list of all of Capcom’s biggest announcement, check out our recap below.
