The Alabama football schedule has been released for the upcoming 2022 college season.
The Alabama Crimson Tide have revealed their football schedule for the 2022 college season.
While they are facing the same seven annual rivals in conference play this year, the Crimson Tide have an incredibly peculiar non-conference game in early September: At the Texas Longhorns on Sept. 10. This will be the first time Steve Sarkisian will face Nick Saban as the head coach of the Longhorns.
Here is how the Alabama football schedule lines up for the upcoming 2022 college season.
2022 Alabama football schedule
- Sept. 3: vs. Utah State Aggies
- Sept. 10: at Texas Longhorns (Austin, TX)
- Sept. 17: vs. ULM Warhawks
- Sept. 24: vs. Vanderbilt Commodores
- Oct. 1: at Arkansas Razorbacks (Fayetteville, AR)
- Oct. 8: vs. Texas A&M Aggies
- Oct. 15: at Tennessee Volunteers (Knoxville, TN)
- Oct. 22: vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs
- Oct. 29: Bye
- Nov. 5: at LSU Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA)
- Nov. 12: at Ole Miss Rebels (Oxford, MS)
- Nov. 19: vs. Austin Peay Governors
- Nov. 26: vs. Auburn Tigers
Though the Texas game in Austin could be challenging, Alabama should have cakewalks in its three other non-conference games. They commence SEC play by hosting Vanderbilt on Sept. 24. Alabama has three other potentially tough road games on tap: at Arkansas on Oct. 15, at LSU on Nov. 5 and at Ole Miss on Nov. 12. That back-to-back in early November looks daunting already.
Overall, this is a schedule Alabama should be able to get to 11 wins with next football season.
