Mojang is currently working on a fix for the 125 broken Xbox achievements in the Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft and hopes to roll out an update to players soon.Earlier this week, the Trails and Tales update for Minecraft launched, adding three new achievements to each version of the game. However, when it came to Minecraft (Nintendo Switch), many players soon realized that the achievements in this version of the game were not unlocking.Fix for broken Minecraft Nintendo Switch Xbox achievements coming soonLooking at our forums, the Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft has had intermittent achievement issues for some time now. Hopefully, these achievement issues will soon be a thing of the past, as TA member Jorax, a developer at Mojang, has said a fix is on the way. Writing in the TA forums, Jorax said, “Hey all, we’ve identified the issue with the Switch achievements and will have a hotfix in the near future which will address this. Unfortunately, something changed in an underlying service without our knowledge, but luckily it is something we can fix with an update now that we know the root cause.”Jorax also noted that the particular issue has been pretty hard to track down as the problem wasn’t an issue with Minecraft’s code and that a hotfix for the broken achievements could come within the next two weeks. Hopefully, those who have been struggling to pop the Nintendo Switch achievements will be able to cross off another Minecraft completion soon. As soon as we hear more on the hotfix, we’ll update you.
