Oddboy and M-Theory have announced that their PlayStation VR time-traveling adventurer, Wanderer, has been delayed from Q3 2021 to Q4 2021. However, Wanderer will be available in physical form at launch to make up for the delay.“The last year has been a pretty tricky one,” the developers said in a press release. “Navigating Covid-19 and its effects while maintaining a healthy and productive environment and developing a unique game for VR has meant we’re running a bit behind on our schedule.”Oddboy and M-Theory are teaming up with Perp Games to release Wanderer on disc.“It’s been awesome to get this partnership with Perp off the ground,” said executive producer Sam Ramlu. “It extends our audience and is a great keepsake for fans – perhaps even one of the last first gen PSVR games available as a physical edition. The team at Perp have been wonderful to work with and we can’t wait to get our hands on the final box!”An overview of Wanderer is as follows:Playing as Asher Neumann, you’re thrust into an unexpected journey to change the course of history. You find yourself in an alternate, apocalyptic timeline where the search begins for your grandfather’s lost apartment and the mysterious artefacts that are hidden within. With the discovery of an unusual wristwatch, you forge a friendship and unlock the power to traverse time and space. Wanderer combines a unique blend of escape room style puzzles and hands-on action sequences that will see you bring together objects and events from various time periods in sometimes unlikely and inventive ways. Take a step back into history to experience beautifully detailed worlds that come to life with realistic and innovative physics-based interactions. We’ll update our readers a new release date is announced.
