Minecraft Trails and Tales update unearths three new Xbox achievements

The next major Minecraft content update, Trails and Tales, is here, and we’ve now picked up three new achievements for Mojang’s blocky survival sandbox game.Minecraft’s long-awaited Trails and Tales update is out now and has brought with it a bunch of new content to the game as well as three brand-new Minecraft achievements to unlock. The Trails and Tales update adds a new cherry biome to explore, two new mobs (the camel and the sniffer), bamboo and cherry wood sets, a new archeology feature, and much more. According to Mojang, the new sniffer mob is a gentle giant that was once extinct. You’ll need to bring it back into the Overworld by finding its eggs and hatching them. The sniffers will help you sniff out seeds for ancient plants: the torchflower plant and pitcher plant. Mojang says that to find sniffer eggs, you’ll need to dig around in the sand to “find buried ruins and use the new brush tool to uncover the treasures in suspicious sand and suspicious gravel blocks.” Lucky players will find a “useful tool, sniffer egg, or pottery sherd.” Finding four sherds makes a pot, and apparently, each pot has its own story to tell.
