Blood borne 60 FPS modder and all-around FromSoftware fan, Lance McDonald, has revealed that Elden Ring was reportedly set to receive a Season Pass for two chunks of DLC, but this was scrapped in favour of the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.Writing on Discord earlier this month, McDonald claimed that the “season pass was 100% the original plan.” Now, the Shadow of the Erdtree is the only DLC planned for the game.Elden Ring was meant to launch with a season pass for 2 DLCs by the way. It was all 100% planned. No idea when it was cancelled exactly, it just never happened and then the coliseums just randomly showed up for free. And they were missing tons of content. And now only 1 DLC is coming. Feels like Bloodborne what happened with that.Related Content – Sony PS5 Complete Guide – Everything Explained About PlayStation 5 For New Owners In 2023Elden Ring was released in February 2022 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. Meanwhile, Shadow of the Erdtree hasn’t got a release date yet, but may not launch before March 2024.[Source – Lance McDonald on Discord via Twisted Voxel]
