Featured UTMAirMap has evolved many times over its storied history, from an app to create no fly zones over your house to a tool that empowers authorities to manage and monitor airspace. Over the past several months, our team has been hard at work building a next-generation product. Our new mission is to enable autonomy and beyond visual line-of-sight flight at scale. As a part of this new direction, we have made the difficult decision to shut down the AirMap application on June 22nd, 2023. This is not a decision we take lightly. We understand the significance that AirMap holds for so many, and we simply want to say thank you to the entire AirMap community for your years of commitment, contribution, and safe flying.LAANC authorizations have been disabled. If you have an authorization with a pending or accepted status that was scheduled prior to the shutdown date, this change will not affect you. If you have an authorization with a pending or accepted status that was scheduled after the shutdown date, our team will be in touch to discuss next steps. Please contact [email protected] with any concerns or questions you may have. We hope to fly with you again soon.– The AirMap Team
