The Grounded team has confirmed that the game’s next update will be one of its biggest, and that it will arrive in October. “We’ve got a new update coming out for Grounded,” the tweet tells us. “The devs have been hard at work, so get ready for one of the biggest updates that’s coming out in October. We’re super excited for this update and we’ll see you then in the backyard.” The tweet adds that this update will be bigger than the Koi Pond update, which added a new biome, a new boss, new items, and new creatures like tadpoles. There’s not too much to go on yet about what’s included in the update, although players are ready to dissect the teaser trailer over on the Grounded subreddit. The Grounded team also added in a reply that they’ve got “more plans for the backyard” before they reach the point of the full launch of the game.We’ve still got a few weeks left of September, and we’ll hopefully get a more detailed breakdown soon. We don’t yet have a specific release date for the update, but it will arrive sometime in October, and we’ll be sure to update you when we learn more.
