Frontier Developments has announced that management sim, F1 Manager 2023, will launch on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One this summer with new features and roles. This summer, Frontier Developments is launching F1 Manager 2023 with a number of new features over last year’s release, including race replays and a new Sporting Director role. A solid release date hasn’t been given yet, but F1 Manager 2023 is expected to arrive on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox this summer.F1 Manager 2023 announcement trailerWhile we’ll be stepping into the shoes of a Team Principle to lead our team to victory across the 23-race season in Career mode once again, F1 Manager 2023 will be offering a host of new gameplay features over its predecessor, F1 Manager 2022. One significant addition is the Sporting Director role, which gives you deeper control over the operations and training of the pit crew. On top of that, you’ll need to overcome the challenges of trying to rapidly reduce pitstop times, find a balance between a vehicle’s performance and reliability, set the development focus of your current team, and scout new talent from the F2 and F3 Championships — both of which will be fully simulated. As for the races themselves, Frontier Developments has said that shifting racing lines now means that drivers will duel for a more dynamic experience, which is aided by the new driver confidence system. All 23 races and six F1 Sprint events will once again be commentated by Sky Sport’s David Croft and Karun Chandhok, but as an additional feature, you’ll now be able to hear your drivers verbally respond to commands via the race engineers. F1 Manager 2023 looks to be packing in plenty of new features for fans, so it’ll be interesting to see if it has what it takes to join some of the best Xbox simulation games when it arrives on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One later this year.
