Speaking during an interview with Kaptain Kuba, Sony Santa Monica Studio‘s Cory Barlog and Eric Williams explained why the Norse saga is wrapping up with God of War Ragnarok.Barlog took charge of answering the question, and revealed that much of the decision comes down to the fact modern God of War games take a good four-five years to make. If there was a third game in the Norse saga, it would mean that the whole thing would take about 15 years overall. In addition, the team decided not to stretch the story out too far, although God of War (2018) wasn’t exactly a small game, so presumably Ragnarok will be packed with content that will help tie up all the loose ends.Related Content – Sony PS5 Complete Guide – A Total Resource On PlayStation 5God of War Ragnarok is currently in development for PS4 and PS5 and will launch in 2022.
