It’s win or go home for the Boston Celtics on Thursday night, as they take on the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 6 at Wells Fargo Center.
Philly stole Game 5 in Boston behind a monster game from Joel Embiid, who is on my list for prop bets in Game 6.
Embiid, Jayson Tatum and a key Celtics guard are the three players to target in this matchup.
Here’s why:
Celtics vs. Sixers best NBA prop bets
- Jayson Tatum OVER 44.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
- Malcolm Brogdon OVER 14.5 Points
- Joel Embiid OVER 29.5 Points

Jayson Tatum did score just seven points in Game 2, but outside of that he’s been hanging around this number all series.
Here’s his PRA by game:
Game 1: 55
Game 2: 17
Game 3: 42
Game 4: 48
Game 5: 51
I expect Tatum to play all the minutes he can handle in Game 6 with Boston’s season on the line, and he’s really taken a step as a rebounder in this series, grabbing 10+ boards in four of the five games.
With that floor, along with his scoring, he should push 44.5 PRA on Thursday night.
Malcolm Brogdon OVER 14.5 Points

This is a prime bounce-back spot for Malcolm Brogdon.
The NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year had just seven points in Game 5, but he had scored 15+ points in five straight games prior to that showing.
With Derrick White and Marcus Smart providing hit or miss games on offense, Brogdon should see a steady diet of shots and minutes in Game 6.
He’s torched Philly in this series, averaging 16.8 points per game while shooting 53.1 percent from beyond the arc.
Joel Embiid OVER 29.5 Points

Joel Embiid has 30+ points in three straight games against Boston in this series, taking 19, 26 and 23 shots over those games.
The Celtics don’t have an answer for Embiid, primarily using Al Horford to guard him with Robert Williams III seeing very limited action.
Embiid won the MVP and scoring title for a reason, and he’s also been great at the line in this series. Boston doesn’t have a great matchup for him, so I expect him to go off with Philly on the verge of closing out this series.
