Jon Maquette, Narrative Director at Insomniac Games, has revealed on the PlayStation Blog that the studio has teamed up with Marvel to produce a prequel comic for the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in celebration of Free Comic Book Day on May 6, 2023.This comic all bridge the gap between Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2, allowing fans to catch up on what Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and MJ have been doing. The story will see their lives colliding once again as they attempt to balance responsibilities to the city, while contending with a new Super Villain that makes them question whether magic is real or not — The Hood.The Spider-Man 2 prequel comic will be available to download digitally on the Marvel Unlimited app in the US or can purchase it at any participating comic book store.
